|The MG T series was beginning to look a little long in the tooth and by the early 1950s MG required a new fresh design.|
So the MG A was finally launched in 1955 and was soon a great success with most of the production volume being exported to the USA.
MG As have long been ignored but recently they have become a well sort after investment.
This is a stunning Chariot red MK1 example and a particularly strong driving car with excellent engine,gearbox and a tight chassis.
She spent the first 40 years in the States and returned to the UK in the 2000s and then underwent a thorough restoration including work at Bob West MG specialists.
The engine has an unleaded conversion also with an alternator and single 12 volt battery conversion.
Since this work she has been owned and maintained by serious enthusiasts who have continually maintained her to a high standard even finishing runner up in MG car club concours.
