1963 • 61,000 MILES • SOLD

By the late 1950s Jaguar were a force to be reckoned with after several wins at Le mans and already producing great cars such as the Xk range.

The Mark 2 was another William Lyons masterpiece with its compact sports saloon body and range of powerful six cylinder race bred engines.

This striking example is a very early version and is finished in the original colour of Burgundy with tan leather, wire wheels and overdrive making her a good cruising car.

With only 5 keepers she was always a Uk supplied rhd car and never exported.

She has enjoyed maintenance throughout the years and presents very well as a good genuine car with patina
Recent expenditure has included Cylinder head rebuild, electronic ignition, new fuel pump etc and a thorough major service

There is a lovely history file with many invoices, most mots supporting the mileage and original booklets.

Even the tool kit is complete and the interior leather is the original material so showing its age but still in great condition.

On the road it is hard to believe that she is 50 years old with good acceleration and handling that belies her age

Supplied fully inspected, serviced and with 12 months warranty
