Porsche 912’s are legendary cars and will only become more valuable and iconic as time goes on and are now a fully respected model in the classic range.
We have sold around 30 912s within the past 5 years and each one has been sourced from the West Coast of USA specifically due to the amazing condition they remain in.
Although the 912 does not have a 6 cylinder engine it still has the respected unit from the previous 356 and is a better balanced driving car in many ways to an early 911.
This example also has the benefit of a 5 speed gearbox and was one of the last built before production ended late 1969.
She has never been stripped for full restoration but just enjoyed on going high standards of maintenance and we sold her 2 years ago so have looked after her since.
Originally purchased by a US Air Force pilot she is one of the last examples built and certainly one of the most original.
She is matching numbers car/original colours and complete with original service, hand books, bill of sale and lots of history authenticating the low mileage.
With more 912’s becoming rare there are more poor ones available than original cars like this one.
On the road she is a delight with nimble handling and enough power to excite you or cruise all day at 70 mph !
