For sale – Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II – 87,000 miles – SOLD
The Shadow II was the final variant of this highly successful range launched in 1966.
I remember the first one I drove and it was a great leap in drivability from the earlier Shadow I with rack and pinion steering and a much more controlled chassis enabling you to enjoy the handling instead of struggling with excessive body roll etc.
This super example has been owned by the same gentleman for the past 10 years and is a very impressive Rolls in Willow gold with Olive roof and Beige leather interior detailed in Green.
There are all the original books with the car including a full Service book with 46 service stamps and a plethora of invoices and original build documents including original sales invoice from Dutton Forshaw.
A very rare option is the factory electric steel sunroof, which still operates perfectly!
I drove her back over 150 miles from the Westcountry and enjoyed every minute with pedestrians saluting the car and asking how old she was in a very endearing fashion.
The air con was so efficient I had to turn the temp down!
Surely a good future investment with good examples becoming hard to find.
