1972 MG MIDGET 1275 – SOLD
By 1972 the Midget had already been in production for 11 years and developed by MG to be a much more useable everyday sportscar.
The 1275cc engine provided a lusty performance and the gearbox easy to use and they even integrated a Triumph steering rack to improve the handling along with rounded rear wheel arches for better clearance.
This lovely Damask red example was thoroughly restored in 2016 including engine and gearbox rebuilds and completed to a high standard inc leather seats, mohair roof, Chrome wire wheels, alternator conversion and electronic ignition.
She presents beautifully and drives very well with a rasp from the stainless steel exhaust and reminds us all that simple, lightweight sports cars are super fun to drive.
Supplied fully inspected, serviced with 12 months warranty.
