1982 BMW 320 AUTO – 25,000 miles – SOLD
After the success of the ubiquitous 2002 series how could BMW improve their ground breaking compact sports saloon.
Well they certainly did in 1975 with a design that was to shape the future brand and was light years ahead of the competition.
Just as the 5-Series became the definitive executive saloon of the 1970s, the 3-Series did the same in the small performance saloon market – cementing the reputation that had been earned by the 02-Series cars. The 323i in particular became the to beat the moment it first appeared on the market in 1975.
Build quality was impeccable, and the interior ergonomics were superb, making this a very satisfying car to own.
This stunning Sapphire blue 320 was one of the last E 21 models built before the replacement E30 came onto the market in 1983.
She has only had 3 owners who have continually maintained her to a high standard and she must be one of the lowest mileage examples available anywhere.
The interior still smells of the deep quality velour the Germans used in the 1980s and is unmarked with the rare steel sunroof still working perfectly.
On the road she is a really smooth ,brisk performer with one of the sweetest 6 cylinder engine priding a turbine like feel and the handling still excellent with very positive feel from the rack and pinion steering.
All original book packs are included, she has a great history file inc a stamped service book.
Supplied fully inspected, serviced with a 12 month warranty.
