By the late 1950s Jaguar were a force to be reckoned with after several wins at Le mans and already producing great cars such as the Xk range. The Mark 2 was another William Lyons masterpiece with its compact sports saloon body and range of powerful six cylinder race bred engines.

This striking example finished in British Racing Green with suede green leather, wire wheels and overdrive.

The Heritage certificate shows that she was always a Uk supplied rhd car.,finished in BRG.

She has enjoyed ongoing restorative maintenance including a high quality body refresh some years ago which still looks great today.

Recent expenditure includes new chrome wires, headlining, woodwork.

There is a very good history file including invoices, mots, manuals etc.

First registered in Aberdeen in March 1961, this lovely 3.4 has the desirable 4-speed manual with overdrive gearbox that makes the most of the car’s prodigious performance.

Widely regarded as being the sweetest running model in the MkII range, it is only badge snobbery that keeps 3.4 values down when compared to the 3.8, making it perhaps the smartest buy today.

On the road she drives very strongly with a great Moss gearbox and powerful engine keeping up with modern traffic made easy.
