The MG T series was beginning to look a little long in the tooth and by the early 1950s MG required a new fresh design.
So the MG A was finally launched in 1955 and was soon a great success with most of the production volume being exported to the USA.
MG As have long been ignored but recently they have become a well sort after investment.
This is a lovely Old English white MK1 example and a particularly strong driving car with excellent engine,gearbox and a tight chassis having recently had many new components fitted including a 5 speed gearbox conversion by the MG Owners Club costing £2800.
She spent the first 30 years in the States and returned to the UK in the 1990s and then underwent a restoration including conversion to RHD.
Since this work she has been owned and maintained by serious enthusiasts who have continually maintained her to a high standard.
