1971 JAGUAR E TYPE SERIES 3 ROADSTER – SOLD
By the Series 3 Jaguar had developed the E Type to be an easy to use Grand tourer with long legs and comfortable for even the tallest drivers unlike the earlier models (our tallest customer Is 6 8″).
So instead of crunchy Moss gearboxes and demandingly heavy steering, you had power steering and even a smooth auto gearbox making this a great proposition for the 1970s motorists.
This 1971 Roadster is a different class again as she has been completely restored and upgraded by E Type UK in 2015 to an extremely high standard and only covered around 4,000 miles since so is as near as you could get to a brand new E Type.
Their work includes:
- Fuel-injected V12 inc upgraded cooling system 270 bhp
- 5-speed manual gearbox
- Bespoke tuned stainless steel exhaust
- Upgraded 4 pot brakes
- Power steering upgrade
- New wiring throughout
On the road, she is so much improved over the standard car with an amazing V12 wail from the tuned exhaust and a slick 5-speed gearbox which, means very high-speed cruising is easy and any journey could be undertaken.
The paint finish, leather trim and all details are to show standard throughout she even has paint protection film on the bonnet/ front end.
