1973 PORSCHE 911T LUX 2.4 INJECTION – £79,950
The dynamic first design 911 came to an end in 1973 after nine years of production and most experts agree that these were the Diamond years for this amazing design.
Final cars produced therefore had the benefit of years of model development and improvements culminating in what could be the best models such as the Carrera RS, SE and T models.
This T model is one of the last built and was registered and used in the preferable climate of USA until recently so another example that has escaped the ravages of the European rust.
The 911T had the K-Jetronic fuel injection system meaning that the 2.4 litre engine produced 200 nm of torque even more than the previous S model!
So with the improved injection and engine meaning a great drive Porsche also fitted a five-speed gearbox with a standard gear pattern, so on the road these versions really.
Fly and will give many modern motorists a surprise.
This coupe looks great finished in Black with contrasting tan interior trim and has a great original feel about it.
She even has a factory electric sunroof, Fuchs alloys and S model front spoiler.
The engine and chassis have matching numbers and recent refurbishment includes new clutch, shock absorbers, carpet retrim etc.
This is a very strong tight driver with a terrific 70s look even including the rare to find chrome wheel arch trim panels.
You cannot fail to enjoy the flat 6 soundtrack and these end of production models are superb with well set up chassis and gearbox providing a satisfying proposition.
