1974 BENTLEY T1 – 93,000 MILES – SOLD
One of the extremely rare and last of the T1s, of which just a handful were built just prior to the T2 becoming available
This example features literally all the sought after improvements introduced during the life of the original chrome bumper examples, including the larger engine, more attractive flared wheel arches and the much improved compliant suspension – resulting in this being the ultimate specification of T1.
With only 1700 Bentleys being built over the 11 years of production a fraction of the Silver Shadow numbers they are becoming very rare and sort after.
Resplendent in factory-correct Peacock blue and contrasted by supple cream beige interior leather, she has been owned by Bentley enthusiasts for the past 10 years inc the past Chairman of the Bentley Drivers Club and has enjoyed restorative expenditure totalling approx £50k at respected Rolls/Bentley specialists during the last 4 years including Hillier Hill.
All the work is documented and results in a super usable Bentley with added reliability as she was reconditioned with a view for usability on tours etc and has indeed travelled to the South of France several times There is a great history file including original sales invoice, build sheets continual service invoices, original handbooks etc. On the road she feels more agile than a Shadow and certainly not as conspicuous with the more subtle elegance of the Bentley features suiting the body style.
Supplied fully inspected, serviced with 12 months warranty.
