We all love and enjoy Alfas with their nimble driving nature and high revving engines but they have always also produced large luxury saloon cars ostensibly to compete with the German brands !!

I remember taking a 164 in part exchange in the early 1990s and enjoyed using it for a few days and my overriding thoughts were that it was an alternate solution to the German cars and a great drivers car but as always not as well built 

This 166 is the last of the line with production finishing around this time
