Final editions of the Silver Shadow /Corniche were much improved and developed with rack and pinion steering, better suspension etc.
Even the impact bumpers suited the bodywork and they were fine cars and sought after by captains of industry, celebrities and committed Rolls enthusiasts alike.
This lovely example was first delivered to a Uk owner who then exported it to Japan at 5 years old finally being repatriated back to the Uk in 2015.
On the road, these series 2 are really great to drive with a much more modern feel than the early cars which were quite sloppy cars with very soft suspension and poor steering.
