1966 FORD LOTUS CORTINA MK1 BEST AVAILABLE – £79,950

The Ford Cortina Twin Cam Lotus was affectionately named ‘Lotus Cortina’ very soon after it was produced and launched by Colin Chapman in 1963, and the production ran until 1970. It was a collaboration between Ford and Lotus, with the Twin Cam Elan engine and it won the hearts and minds of people all over the world, but none so much as right here in Great Britain.
The Group 5 Works Rally cars were incredibly successful in the hands of Graham Hill, Jackie Ickx, Sir John Whitmore.

Every petrol headed person with a driving licence queued up to buy themselves a Ford Cortina, which is why so many of us so fondly remember the Cortina’s our fathers had when we were children.

This stunning example was painstakingly restored 4 years ago by specialists and the detailing was very important to the customer with amazing attention to detail throughout.

Engine and gearbox were also rebuilt and she is now fully run in and ready to enjoy or show.
