Ending a terrific line of models the TR6 finalised production in 1976 and all subsequent models like the TR7 had unfortunately lost the Sixties feel and looks of the original TR range. So the TR6 was the end of an era of iconic cars.

This example was produced in 1972 for the UK market as verified on the Heritage certificate always finished in French blue

The original engine was rebuilt by TR GB and upgraded to at least 160 bhp inc stage 2 ,unleaded valves ,ported head ,balanced,lightened  flywheel  Bosch fuel pump etc .other upgrades inc Phoenix stainless sports exhaust inc manifold,cv style drive shafts,Willwood brakes,shockers etc

Full interior trim using John Skinner Inc full leather interior,dashboard top and lower in leather and seats,Wilton high class carpets ,mohair hood and even the original hardtop with headlining

This is a mighty performer and amongst the best tr6 I have driven with a very powerful but reliable engine with the slick overdrive gearbox, meaning you can cruise at high speed without stress the upgrades improving the experience
