1957 TRIUMPH TR3 SMALL MOUTH (BEST AVAILABLE) – SOLD

Developed from the TR2 by 1958, the TR3 was a well-sorted sports car and incredibly popular around the world with its lusty engine and vintage feel chassis providing lots of fun.
This lovely example was built as a UK RHD, so is one of the rare surviving original RHD non-converted Lhd cars.
Lots has been spent over the years with continual high maintenance carried out including a restoration in the 1990s  by the renowned Triumph specialist Mike Hazlewood to an extremely high standard.
All of this results in a fantastic, sorted Tr3 which you can use every day without any concerns whilst performing to a high standard.
Hardtop, side screens, tonneau, hood and cover, aero screens are present and made in mohair by the best trimmer in the business John Skinner.
The history file is thorough with invoices, mots dating back over the years.
She is finished in rare Apple green with tan leather interior, including beautiful supportive sports seats.
Engine and gearbox were also rebuilt and the cylinder head converted to unleaded, rack and pinion Steering was also fitted along with alternator, electric ignition and Cooling fan.
She drives superbly with a super-strong engine and slick overdrive gearbox hard to believe she is 60 plus years old.
