From its launch in 1971, the SL soon became the standard all other Grand convertible touring cars aspired to.

By the end of production in 1989, there had been very few major changes just mild developments and enhancements.

This beautiful Blue/black example was purchased in 1987 by Saatchi and Saatchi and pampered from day one with regular servicing carried out including recent more work at the renowned SL specialist Roger Edwards.

Valve guides and other consumables have been dealt with over the past few thousand miles and she feels like she will easily cover another 100k miles with ease.
